Clinic websites for Turkey, built to the rules.

Clinic website design in Turkey is not just a design job: since November 2025, a single Ministry of Health regulation decides what a clinic may say, show and promote online, at home and abroad. We build custom-coded sites for polyclinics, dental clinics and hair transplant clinics with those rules designed in from day one.

What a clinic website needs to do

Whether it is a dental clinic website, a hair transplant clinic website or a site for a multi-specialty polyclinic, a patient arrives with the same three questions: who will treat me, what happens step by step, and how do I get in touch? Every page we build answers those quickly.

Doctor and department pages

A page per doctor with training, specialty and department. Titles follow the specialties recognised in Turkish law, not certificate-based labels.

Treatment pages

Plain, checkable information on what a treatment is, who it suits, how it works and what recovery looks like. Realistic expectations instead of promised results.

Enquiries that reach the right person

Short forms, tap-to-call and WhatsApp. Each request arrives with language and country, so your coordinators can reply in the right time zone.

Fast on every phone

No templates and no page builders. Lean, hand-written code loads quickly on mobile connections, including for patients abroad.

Yours from day one

Domain, hosting, code, Analytics, Search Console and ad accounts are opened in your clinic's name and handed over.

A separate site for international patients

Turkey's health advertising regulation treats health tourism differently from domestic promotion. Promotion aimed at international patients has to run on a separate, foreign-facing website or social media account that clearly states health tourism services are offered there. Promotion aimed at people living in Turkey through that channel is not allowed. In practice this means a health tourism website and your Turkish-language clinic website are planned as two distinct properties.

Languages follow your markets. English is usually the base; Arabic, German, Russian or others can be added as your patient mix requires, with right-to-left layouts handled properly for Arabic. Each language lives at its own URL with hreflang tags, so search engines show the right version in the right country. Translations are not left as raw machine output; your medical team reviews the clinical terms.

  • Your health tourism authorisation certificate published on the foreign-facing site
  • The HealthTürkiye logo used in promotion aimed at health tourists
  • Patient stories and reviews only with the patient's documented explicit consent
  • Discounts, packages and competitive prices possible on the foreign-facing platform, under the regulation's conditions

Turkish health advertising rules, in plain English

The Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services was published in the Official Gazette on 12 November 2025 and replaced the 2023 version. The points that shape a clinic website most:

  • Open or covert advertising of health services is prohibited; promotion and information that follow the regulation's principles are allowed (Art. 5).
  • Websites must show the date of the last update and contact details for the site editor (Art. 5/1-ı).
  • Domestic promotion may not include fees, discounts, campaigns or promotions (Art. 5/1-m).
  • No superiority claims, no claims for unproven treatments and no specialist titles based on certificates (Art. 5/1-ç, d, h).
  • No advertising built on patients' thank-you or satisfaction messages in domestic promotion (Art. 5/1-e).
  • Patient images need explicit consent; no retouching; before-and-after images must be taken under the same conditions and dated; no images taken during procedures or of intimate areas (Art. 7).

We use these points as a checklist during design and content work. Final sign-off on medical content stays with your clinic and, where needed, your legal adviser. This page is general information, not legal advice.

Google Ads, local SEO and patient data

Domestically, clinics may register with search engines and social platforms as long as it is not paid sponsorship or boosting, and sponsored promotion is limited to the first month after opening (Art. 5/1-i, j). On the separate foreign-facing platform, sponsored promotion in languages other than Turkish is permitted, provided the audience is set to abroad and automatic audience targeting is switched off (Art. 8). That is where we run Google Ads for clinics.

Local SEO is about patients who are already looking for you: consistent address and phone details, clear department and doctor pages, and a fast, technically clean site. Keywords and what appears on search results pages must follow the same principles, so content is planned with that in mind. More on our SEO services.

Health data is special-category personal data under Turkey's data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698). Our enquiry forms ask only for what is needed, carry the privacy notice required by Article 10 of the law, and we agree with you where data is stored before launch. The regulation also bans promotional calls and messages without the person's knowledge and consent, so WhatsApp flows start from the patient's own message.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can a clinic in Turkey show prices on its website?

Not in domestic promotion: fees, discounts, campaigns and promotions are excluded. On a separate foreign-facing health tourism platform, the regulation allows discounts, campaigns and competitive price announcements under set conditions.

Can I use before-and-after photos?

Under conditions. You need the patient's explicit consent, no retouching, matching conditions with the procedure date shown, and no images taken during surgery or of intimate areas. Domestic visuals also need a notice that results vary from person to person.

Which languages should a hair transplant clinic website have?

The ones your patients actually speak. English is usually the base, with Arabic, German, Russian or others added by market. A few well-translated languages earn more trust than many weak ones.

Can clinics in Turkey advertise on Google Ads?

Domestically, sponsored promotion is limited to the first month after opening. Sponsored promotion aimed abroad is allowed on a separate foreign-facing platform, in languages other than Turkish, with the audience set outside Turkey.

How long does a clinic website take?

A corporate site is usually delivered in 2-4 weeks. A multilingual health tourism site depends on the number of languages and how ready the content is; we confirm the timeline in writing with the quote.
